Katie's 4th Year Thing →
If anyone’s interested, I have a side blog where I’m posting details and process thingies related to my graduate film. Have a look!
We are thrilled to announce ALL GOOD THINGS: The IADT Animation BA (Hons) 2014 Graduate Exhibition which will be happening this June at Block T and the Light House Cinema, Smithfield. We’re animation students who’re passionate about 2D, 3D, stop-motion, visual development, storytelling and filmmaking in general.
We are all IADT students, but ALL GOOD THINGS is not an IADT event - it is completely independent and self-generated. However, hosting an exhibition and screening, printing artwork, creating a zine and serving food & refreshments doesn’t come cheap, so we’ve set up a Fund It campaign to help cover a portion of the costs.
We’d appreciate any contribution you could make! In return we’re offering a range of rewards, and you’d be investing in the night itself, our artwork and our futures. Please check out our Fund It page for more details.
You can keep up to date with the exhibition on our Facebook and Twitter pages, and see stunning gifs and artwork from the films and student projects here on our Tumblr. Thank you so much for your support and we hope to see you there!
My lovely followers! Would anyone care to help out me and my class with our graduate exhibition? I’d really appreciate it if anyone could lend a helping hand!
Busy? Got lots of work to do? Better stay up late drawing dragons.

Felt like doodling my gurl Dany at her best. Her best being “Imma decidedly set you on fire politically and literally”.
I kinda never draw characters from photos very often. This is a whole new world. Sorry bout the crummy photo quality.
Fund it :: Anthea West Art Book →
Hey friends! I know I don’t normally post non-art things here, by my mate Anthea is making an artbook and has only four days left to raise just around €40, so I thought I’d give her a hand with a quick little plug.
Since you’re following me, you probably like both art and nerdy stuff, and let me tell you, this book will have both.
Her tumblr is here dusty-tea.tumblr.com and her website is here http://www.dustbunny-studios.com
Over n’ out!
Behold, a TERRIBLE GRAINY PHOTO of a wibbly blue fishcatdog! I am going to go so very to sleep now!
(I was researching foxes in folklore for my thesis today, so I was looking at awesome old school Japanese art for a large portion of the day)
Very very late night doodles of an RP dude. Darling magic school teacher guy who’s always tired, look at him go.
My apologies for completely losing track of pokédexy! Christmas happened, and now I kinda sorta have a bunch of college work to do, so… well, I’d like to complete it, but we’ll see. I got all of the types done though, that’s a thing!
In fact, ya know what, here’s a bunch of dragons that I drew over the past year. That first page was just yesterday, the rest were all much earlier.
What can I say, dragons are cool.
Just for fun, an animoot of an RP related jumpy foxy dragon, cause all the RPs between me and Mama involve dragons in some capacity.
I’m not too great at drawing today, ehh. And I’m also still behind. Woooo.
Might redo this concept once my confidence is a bit more up.
Still two days behind. Going out to see Frozen again shortly and I want to make my fav water type nice and painterly, so idk if I’ll have time to get that done. Eh, I’ll try!
Anyway, fuck yeah Skarmory.
Got bored, so I made a how-to of last night’s meal.
Forgot to mention that that sauce is amazing on absolutely everything. Like I literally can’t think of something that wouldn’t suit it.
Excuse me, I'm terribly sorry if you've already been asked this before, uhm but you didn't have a FAQ and I was wondering what kind of tablet/drawing program you use?
Ohh, never even thought of making an FAQ before, eheh! My tablet is a bandy old over-used intuos 4. I use paint tool SAI for my sketches and painterly things, and then I use gimp whenever I want to do a thing that’ll have straight lines and solid blocks of colour.
Edit: Oh, and I use TV Paint to animate.
